Clement is happy! The story that he wrote on the 1939-1945 conflict came first in the French Resistance Competition. Clement’s grandmother is overjoyed and proud, whereas his father, the banker, would have preferred his son to win first prize in… arithmetics. It is Roger Blanchard in person, a hero of the last war, who will present Clement with his award in front of all the pupils and all the teachers of the secondary school.
