Blood Ties par Eric Trochon
I’m standing by the black waters of some kind of pond. On the opposite shore, the killer is facing me. He’s wearing a dark overcoat and nondescript grey trousers. He’s got his hands in his pockets. He has tied rubbish bags over his shoes—so as not to leave any shoe print in the mud, I reckon. The guy is obviously careful and fastidious. A carnival or Halloween mask, that of a werewolf, covers his head entirely. Because of the distance and his clothes, I can’t assess his size and bulk at all. I suppose he’s wearing gloves. He’s the type that leaves no clue behind.
